Seated Acupressure Massage

-also known as 'On-site Massage'-is a meridian-based therapy based on the ancient oriental massage techniques of Shiatsu and Anma.

The practitioner uses their palms, thumbs and elbow to stimulate and to balance the flow of energy in the body. In turn, this has a beneficial effect on the muscular, nervous, immune and lymphatic systems, leaving the client relaxed, focused and energised.

Seated Acupressure Massage is carried out with the client seated and clothed, and a typical treatment lasts for 20-30 minutes.This makes it the ideal modality for the busy workplace, and is increasingly being used by corporate companies for the benefit of their employees.  Seated Acupressure Massage is ideal for reducing stress within the workplace, making for healthier, happier employees-and absenteeism may well fall considerably.

There are very few contra-indications, and your therapist will ensure that this is a safe, appropriate treatment for you to receive. 

Treatments

The first treatment will last for 30 minutes and will include a detailed assessment. Subsequent treatments will be for 20 minutes.
